Newberry County is a place rich with history and tradition.
We invite you to share our stories and explore our history
through the exhibits at the Newberry County Museum.

Our final meeting of 2015, will be held Sunday, November 22nd at 3:00pm
in the meeting room at Oakland Mill Apartments, located at 2710 Fair Ave in Newberry.
President Bob Montgomery will conduct a short business meeting, during which there
will be an election of officers. The program will be presented by Buffy and Sue Summer.
This dynamic mother/daughter team will present a program recounting the experiences
of many Newberrians during the summer of 1963, when the military conducted exercises
named "Operation Swift Strike" throughout the county. Buffy and Sue are always
entertaining and you won't want to miss their program!

Refreshments and fellowship will follow the meeting. Please feel free to invite your
friends to join us for this very interesting program.

As this is our final meeting for 2015, it is an opportunity for you to bring your 2016
membership check to our treasurer. Single member dues are $12, couples are $20.
